🌊 Team

The Neptunes are your local swim team in the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL), running from mid-May to July. During this season, kids enhance their swimming skills, have fun with neighbors, and enjoy summer. ☀️

Practices start at North Creek after school in June, then shift to North Creek in the mornings or Hurley Park in the evenings. The team competes in A meets on Saturday mornings and B meets on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Swimmers and parents also make new friends and enjoy social events like mini-golf, movie nights, pep rallies, and pasta potlucks. Summer swim teams are a beloved tradition in Montgomery Village, fostering lasting memories and friendships. 🎉

🏊‍♂️ Pre-Team

The North Creek Neptunes Pre-Team offers a great opportunity for children ages 5 to 7 to develop their swimming skills. Sessions are available in the morning and evening, with swimmers divided into three levels:

• Beginners (Group 1)

• Intermediate (Group 2)

• Advanced (Group 3)

Certified coaches and high school assistants teach the beginner and intermediate groups, while the advanced group is smaller and led by a coach. Pre-Team swimmers can also participate in special “Mini-Meets,” where they have fun and earn treats like lollipops and popsicles! 🍭

Lessons last 30 minutes and are scheduled between 9:00 and 11:00 AM in the morning and 6:15 and 8:15 PM in the evenings. Please note that there are no Pre-Team lessons on B-Meet nights.
